Supply Chain Dashboard

The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) has developed the Supply Chain Dashboard (the Dashboard) to provide information on key materials required to deliver infrastructure in Victoria.

The Dashboard presents modelled demand for key materials based on project data collected by Infrastructure Australia (IA) for its Infrastructure Market Capacity Report.

This consists of Victorian major public infrastructure information listed in the 2026–27 State Budget Paper No.4, where Total Estimated Investment (TEI) and project start and end dates are available. It also includes Victorian public infrastructure project data sourced from other levels of government, such as Commonwealth and local government, and other sources.

Data is only presented for recently completed or currently committed public projects.

Details of IA’s methodology are available in the following fact sheets.

The Dashboard presents modelled costs for selected materials only. It does not include all costs related to individual infrastructure projects, such as labour, equipment, plant and materials not covered by the Dashboard.

For broader project cost information, please see the Victorian Infrastructure Pipeline.

This information is indicative only and is intended to assist government and industry in planning and budgeting decisions. This data is not suitable for detailed planning for individual projects. Forecasts may change depending on government commitments in future budget cycles.
