Access the Residential Cladding Rectification Register

The Residential Cladding Rectification Register supports the rectification and/or removal of combustible cladding products on private residential buildings.  Access the list of pre-qualified suppliers to search for suppliers listed by name or pre-qualification category.

The Residential Cladding Rectification Register is a register of prequalified suppliers of:

  • construction works, such as building contractors
  • construction services, such as architects, engineers and project managers.

The Residential Cladding Rectification Register supports the rectification and/or removal of combustible cladding products on private residential buildings.

A separate register – the Construction Supplier Register – lists pre-qualified suppliers eligible to work on government building and infrastructure projects.

The list of pre-qualified suppliers listed on the Residential Cladding Rectification Register is available as an excel file.  The list presents the following information:

  • Details of pre-qualified suppliers
    • Name of supplier
    • Trading name
    • Australian Business Number (ABN) and / or Australian Company Number (ACN)
    • Address
    • Telephone number
    • Website (where available)
    • Email contact
  • Residential Cladding Rectification Register pre-qualification number and category
    • Pre-qualification number
    • Pre-qualification categories
    • Maximum project limit

The list of pre-qualified suppliers listed on the Residential Cladding Rectification Register is updated on a regular basis.

By accessing the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register, a user agrees to abide and be bound by the User agreement and acknowledgement to use the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification.

User agreement and acknowledgement to use the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register

1. The Residential Cladding Rectification Register is operated and maintained by the Lead Department (currently the Department of Treasury and Finance) on behalf of the State of Victoria, with occasional assistance from the Victorian Building Authority, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and Cladding Safety Victoria (collectively, the State Entities).

2. Users of the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register agree and acknowledge:

a. Suppliers listed in the Residential Cladding Rectification Register have met the Lead Department’s minimum capability criteria established for the register, as in force from time to time.

b. Registration on the Residential Cladding Rectification Register is not a reflection on the quality, value for money, qualifications, or experience of the suppliers contained within it, or the Lead Department’s, the State of Victoria’s or the State Entities’ views of a supplier.

c. The Lead Department, the State of Victoria and the State Entities do make any guarantees, warranties, representations, endorsements regarding the suppliers or the work or services performed by the suppliers.

d. The status of a supplier listed on the register may change at any time, without warning.

e. Users must undertake their own due diligence in selecting a supplier.

f. Users are responsible for entering into a contract with each supplier selected and to manage that contract.  The Lead Department, the State of Victoria and any State Entity will not be a party to any contract by virtue of the Residential Cladding Rectification Register.

3. Contract conditions between a user and a supplier selected from the register must include a clause that provides for supplier performance reporting to the Residential Cladding Rectification Register, reflecting the requirements set out in clause 9(d) from the supplier’s Conditions of pre-qualification.

4. All suppliers and users of this Register unconditionally and irrevocably release the Lead Department, the Victorian Government, and the State Entities and their employees, officers and agents from all liability arising out of, or in any way connected with:

a. this Register;

b. any contracts, works or services provided in relation to this Register;

c. any contracts, works or services provided after users or suppliers being contacted via this Register; and/or

d. the information provided to users of this Register or suppliers, including but not limited to information provided pursuant to this access to the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register.

5. The State of Victoria and the Lead Department give no warranty that the information disclosed on the Register is true and correct, suitable for any purpose, and disclaims all liability for any supplier or user’s use of information contained in the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register.

6. The State and the Lead Department will not be responsible at any time for any liabilities incurred or entered into by suppliers or users as a result of, or arising out of, their obligations under this access to the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register.

7. Users unconditionally and irrevocably release the Lead Department, State Entities and the Victorian Government, their employees, officers, and agents from all liability, and indemnifies, and will at all times hold harmless, defend and keep the Victorian Government and the State Entities and each of their employees, officers, and agents (Indemnified Parties) against any liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including all legal and settlement costs determined on a full indemnity basis) or compensation arising out of, or in any way connected with, any:

a. personal injury, including sickness and death

b. property damage

c. the user’s use of the list

d. any third party claim arising out of a breach of this User agreement and acknowledgement to use the list of pre-qualified suppliers Residential Cladding Rectification Register by the user or any negligent act or omission of the user which was caused, or contributed to by, any act or omission of the user or any of their employees, officers, or agents.

8. To the extent that the indemnity in clause 4 refers to persons other than the Lead Department, the Lead Department holds this clause on trust for those other persons.
