Victoria’s Natural Disaster Financial Assistance (NDFA) scheme is available to local government and Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) to relieve some of the financial burden that may be experienced following a natural disaster event.
From 1 December 2019, responsibility for Victoria’s administration of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements moved from the Department of Treasury and Finance to Emergency Management Victoria.
The Natural Disaster Financial Assistance webpage has moved to the Emergency Management Victoria website, where all information regarding Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements guidelines, registered natural disaster events and key claim lodgement timelines can be found.
Please note that there have been no changes to the processes for submitting or finalising claims.
