About the Economic Division

The Economic Division within the Department of Treasury and Finance provides leadership in policy development, economic and financial advice from a central agency perspective. We support the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Regulatory Reform and the Cabinet process to generate employment, improve Victorians' living standards, and deliver essential services.

The Division is comprised of three core groups, the Economic Policy group, Service Delivery and Reform group and the Revenue group, which provide analysis and advice across of breadth of priority issues. We work in the heart of State Government in a dynamic and collaborative environment with opportunities to undertake stimulating work.

About the roles

The Economic Division is recruiting for a number of exciting roles across a range of policy areas including mental health, Victoria’s social housing initiative, economic recovery and tax policy.
