The Andrews Labor Government’s plan to improve water security will protect Victorians and their jobs.
The Victorian Budget 2016/17 provides $468 million in new investments in water infrastructure, to extend the water grid, improve waterway health and secure water supplies for homes and businesses.
The funding for this will continue to be sourced from the Environmental Contribution Levy in support of the Government’s soon to be released Water for Victoria plan, ensuring our state is prepared for challenges such as climate change, population growth, and an increased demand for water.
