Accommodation services

GSG accommodation team provides the following services to government departments that fall under the Minister for Finance office accommodation portfolio:

• project management for office fit-out, refurbishment and upgrades;
• arranging and coordinating office development projects;
• provision of property management and consultancy advice;
• negotiation and contracts for leasing office accommodation for Victorian departments;
• sourcing office space for Victorian departments;
• parking leases for Victorian departments; and
• benchmarking and auditing Victorian office accommodation property performance.

GSG works to deliver a high standard of environmental sustainability across the portfolio by:

• setting standards and targets for base buildings and tenancies;
• providing ongoing management and benchmarking of the portfolio;
• implementing improvement projects to reduce the environmental footprint of the portfolio; and
• ensuring accountability through measurement and reporting of environmental performance.

Contract Property Manager (Brookfield Multiplex)

GSG manages the provision of property services by our contract property manager, Brookfield Multiplex Limited, for approximately 100 leased and government owned offices in Victoria.

Architects panel

GSG has established a new panel for architect and interior design services for commercial fit-out projects up to $1 million. This panel is a whole of Government Open State Purchase Contract which allows all government departments and agencies to engage architects for small and medium sized commercial fit-out works without tendering individually for each project.

The panel comprises experienced architects and interior designers who provide a broad range of architectural and project management services. Panel members are competitively priced and were selected based on their ability to deliver cost- effective and efficient solutions through high quality innovative design and planning excellence with an emphasis on sustainable development.

Security management on Treasury Reserve

GSG manages the security guard services and systems and coordinating emergency procedures for all the tenants on the Treasury Reserve.

Facilities management for DTF and DPC on Treasury Reserve

The GSG provides facilities management services for the Department of Treasury and Finance and the Department of Premier and Cabinet tenants.
