Independent review of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) and the Centralised Investment Model

The independent review of VFMC and the Centralised Investment Model was conducted by KPMG and was delivered to the Government in mid-2011.

The Government's response to the review recommendations is included in its statement on the strategic direction for VFMC.

Policy and program evaluation

Evaluation is one of six core components of the Strategic Management Framework and seeks to improve performance, strengthen the evidence base for resource allocation decision making and enhance accountability.

The DTF Guide to Evaluation has been designed to guide VPS entities in conducting program and policy evaluations. It provides a practical framework and some key principles for planning and implementing effective evaluations.

Victorian Economic and Financial Statement - April 2011

The Victorian Economic and Financial Statement was released by the Treasurer, Kim Wells MP, on 14 April 2011.

Annual Report

The Department of Treasury and Finance produces an Annual Report which is tabled in Parliament each year. Our annual report outlines our achievements, output delivery, financial performance and adherence to reporting requirements of the Financial Management Act 1994.

Model Report

The Model Report serves as a basis for annual financial and non-financial reporting by government departments in Victoria. The guidance is also highly recommended to other general government entities, and may be relevant to Public Financial Corporations and Public Non-Financial Corporations.
