The Victorian Risk Management Framework brings together information on governance policies, accountabilities and roles and responsibilities for all those involved in risk management.
The framework also provides for a minimum risk management standard and an attestation by accountable officers in annual reports. The framework, originally issued in 2007, was updated in 2011.

Insurance management policy and guidelines for the general government sector
The guidelines bring together information on insurance and the use of insurance in the Victorian general government sector.
This document should be read in conjunction with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework. This policy supplements that framework as it relates to risk, insurable risk and guidance on insurance.
