Cost, efficiency and productivity

The Victorian Guidelines contain a requirement that tenderers submit a workplace relations management plan (WRMP) and any other documents and information necessary to meet the requirements of Section 6.1 of the Victorian Guidelines with any expression of interest or tender response.

This requirement applies where the Victorian Government’s funding to a project is $10 million or more, or is at least $5 million and 50 per cent of the total construction project value.

The Victorian Guidelines also require that contractors must comply with its WRMP, tender response and other requirements of Section 6.1.

A model WRMP will be available on this website shortly (www.dtf.vic.gov.au/viccode).

Workplace safety

The Victorian Guidelines require tenderers to demonstrate how they will achieve the objectives of the Victorian Code and Victorian Guidelines in relation to safety.

The Victorian Guidelines contain a requirement that tenderers submit a health and safety management plan (HSMP) and any other documents and information necessary to meet the requirements of Section 9 of the Victorian Guidelines with any expression of interest or tender response.

A model HSMP will be available on this website (www.dtf.vic.gov.au/viccode) and may be updated from time to time.
