Model Report 2007-08

The 2007-08 Model Report for Victorian Government Departments is presented in Word format in four segments and in pdf format. The following Model Report is provided to assist departments and other Victorian public sector entities with their planning and preparation of their 2008 Annual Reports. As in previous years, all Government departments are required under Standing Direction 4.2 Reporting Requirements in terms of Part 7 of the Financial Management Act 1994, to comply with the Model when preparing and presenting their Annual Report to Parliament.
The major changes applied to the 2008 Model include:
- Sample disclosure and guidance provided to guide entities in meeting the requirements of AASB 7 Financial Instruments: Disclosures;
- Updated sample disclosure and guidance on property, plant, and equipments following recent release of FRD 103C Non-Current Physical Assets;
- Expanded sample disclosure on environmental reporting following recent update to FRD 24C Reporting of Office-based Environmental Data by Government Entities; and
- Additional sample disclosure and guidance on reporting Machinery of Government administrative restructure.
