Natural Disaster Financial Assistance

Natural Disaster Financial Assistance (NDFA) for local councils is provided to assist in the recovery process and alleviate some of the financial burden that may be experienced following a natural disaster.

Financial assistance in Victoria has been provided by the Victorian State Government in accordance with Commonwealth-State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) since 1974.
