Tribute to Ian Little

The Department of Treasury and Finance was deeply saddened by the passing of its Secretary, Ian Little, on Tuesday 6 June 2006.

For over a decade Ian Little made an invaluable contribution to the State of Victoria holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Department for Treasury and Finance from 1994, before becoming Secretary in 1998.

The second Ian Little Memorial Lecture was delivered by Dr. Ken Henry, Secretary to the Commonwealth Treasury, on 4 March 2008.

Public tribute 2006

On Thursday 15 June 2006, a public tribute was held for Ian Little at the Melbourne Town Hall. Approximately 600 people attended to share their memories and pay their respects to Ian and his family.
